Hi, I’m Fiona McWilliam, the founder of Oldbird, a small, Scottish business offering independent publishing services to writers and self-publishers of children’s books.
After thirty years as a secondary school teacher, I am now a part-time university tutor and have a wealth of experience in reading, assessing, and amending the written word.
Having published several children’s books already, Oldbird’s new services include Read and Review, and Read and Revise, to ensure your children’s book manuscript has a better chance of being picked up by a publisher OR that you have a better experience with self-publishing your work.
